Who is Spacekitten?

Andrea Drugay is a San Francisco-based artist, writer, fire performer, and yogini.

She has been painting furniture since the early '90s, in Chicago and California. She formally studied painting while attending Santa Clara University, but is otherwise self-taught. Her painted houseware designs, based on the Mexican Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos), represent the balance between the joy of living and acknowledgment of our eventual death.

Her art has been shown in Santa Clara, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, California.
